Across the street from the lake...the lake view is awesome. The swimming pool, hot tub and sauna was nice... Two thumbs up....
Did not get the room that I originally booked...I booked a two bedrooms suite for privacy but got the bell loft instead no privacy. The bed upstairs is hard to get in and out of if you are sleeping by the wall, because it is up against the wall. You literally have to scoot your way out of the bed..so uncomfortable. Then the dish washer leaked all of the water on the floor when we ran a load...etc..Lastly the furnishing is old and out dated. Yeah they got a flat screen tv and a fire place for the living room, but the rest of the furnishing and beds are old and out dated. Two thumbs down....
Great location, friendly staff.
The room was very outdated, floor seemed dirty, sofa bed was basically springs.
It is very family friendly.
My room did not have a working coffee pot and the shower valves needed to be repaired.
It was a nice hotel with a good price. We were at a wedding and had two people we were paying for so we could afford to pay for my in-laws with the price. It is a place were we can take our kids on vacation and can afford it.
The lack of privacy between the bedrooms was not exactly what I like. Everything from first floor echos up on the loft area.
Poor costumer service , nasty rooms , triple priced for what they offer
I like that they offer some rooms with private bedrooms. As a family with two young children it can be difficult to stay in most hotel rooms as the children need to go to bed early. Since most hotel rooms are one open space, this means you either have to go to bed really early when the kids do or keep them up past their bedtime.
Our room appeared clean but had clearly not been vacuumed as my young children kept getting off the floor with long black hairs all over them. Also, I called down to the front desk to get our room cleaned while we were out. The maid service was on our floor at the time. We left the room and returned two hours later. Not only had they not cleaned our room, they had cleaned every room on the floor except ours. We had to hunt them down to get towels and toiletries. They offered to clean our room at that time, which was nice. Except, the whole reason I had asked them to come sooner was because we had a young child with us that needed to nap when we returned to the room.
The carpets are seriously disgusting... I was repulsed by what looked like bodily fluid stains. Please, please please replace the carpet.
We liked the size of the room, the location of the hotel and the pool area. We also felt it was priced really well. The wine and cheese hour was very nice also. The staff at the front desk was very friendly as well. Free parking was also nice.
We were disappointed with the "smell" of the building and the smell in our room. We stayed in a non smoking room which had a very distinct SMOKE smell. The hallways also had a musty smell. We also felt the rooms are very dated and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable.
